Okay, so not all of the North Korea jokes connected. But the mere fact that they existed made this year’s Golden Globes an unusually political ceremony.

First, there was the opening monologue, in which hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler left no doubt as to their feelings of culpability regarding the charges against Bill Cosby. Then there was the Cecil B. DeMille Award presentation, in which recipient George Clooney announced “Je suis Charlie.” In both those memorable moments, and elsewhere, the awards trended towards social commentary. Presenter Jared Leto and nominee Helen Mirren both made tributes to slain employees of the French publication Charlie Hebdo, the latter by pinning a pen to her dress. Fey and Poehler also made light, at exhausting length, of the crisis around the release of the North Korea-mocking film The Interview.

Some prizes were as political as the ceremony at large. Jeffrey Tambor’s win for best actor in a comedy for the Amazon seriesTransparent, in which he plays a transgender woman, caught the attention of politically-minded viewers. (He dedicated his award to the trans community.)

But there were few real surprises, but for Wes Anderson’s win for best comedy or musical, with The Grand Budapest Hoteltrumping Birdman. (Anderson charmingly announced he wouldnot thank a long list of collaborators, all of whom he mentioned by name.) Real-world politics tended to give way to Hollywood politics, as when Clooney’s speech tended to be far more about happiness in a camera-friendly marriage than about anything else in the world, or when Julianne Moore, winning Best Actress in a Drama for playing an Alzheimer’s patient in Still Alice, seemed cut off from saying all she’d have liked to as the show ran over time.

In the absence of real hosting, as Poehler and Fey ceded their jobs midshow to Margaret Cho as a North Korean soldier (for better or, largely, worse), the burden of entertainment fell on winners. Tambor was a welcome but unsurprising star; so, too, was Gina Rodriguez, winning for her role in Jane the Virgin and fulfilling the Globes’ mandate of anointing a new TV star each ceremony. And Best Director winner Richard Linklater was certainly very sympathetic in explaining the process by which his eventual Best Picture, Drama Boyhood came together. It wasn’t glamorous, as a winner, but it was something.

3.  Gum (Periodontal) Disease:-

Studies have shown that periodical disease, also known as gum disease, is linked to heart attacks and strokes. Gum disease is an infection in the gums surrounding the teeth. Gum disease is also one of the main causes of tooth loss among adults. There are two major stages of gum disease: gingivitis and periodontitis. Regular dental check ups along with brushing at least twice a day and flossing daily play an important role in preventing gum disease.

4.  Oral Cancer:-

Oral cancer is a serious and deadly disease that affects millions of people. In fact, the oral cancer Foundation estimates that someone in the United States dies every hour of every day from oral cancer. Over 300,000 new cases of oral cancer are diagnosed every year, worldwide. One morning, your urine looks as cloudy as a British beach, another, as yellow as lemonade. And that smell? Whew! Is it from something you ate or is your liquid output warning you of serious health problems? Here’s what your urine is telling you...

The tint of your urine catches your attention, especially when it looks unusual. But are the colors in your toilet bowl something to worry about?

The fact is, knowing what turns urine different colors may be a fun party trick, but it's no diagnosis, says Elizabeth Kavaler, M.D., clinical assistant professor of urology at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City and author of A Seat on the Aisle, Please! The Essential Guide to Urinary Tract Problems in Women (Springer).

“Urination is one of the most common body functions, so people focus on it and look for [meaning] in their urinary habits,” she says. “But most colors are of no concern.”

Still, urine color can clue us in to health habits, diet and serious conditions. We asked experts what’s behind the hues:

Light Yellow:-What it reveals: If you’re looking at a lemonade knock-off, “it’s a fairly normal color,” says Michael Hyman, M.D., chief of urology at Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank, Calif.

The yellow comes from bile produced by the liver and excreted in urine.

“That’s part of the elimination of toxins,” Dr. Kavaler says.

When to be worried: “If it’s very light yellow, you may be overhydrated,” Dr. Hyman says. “But as long as you don’t have a major condition, like kidney failure, it’s not dangerous. Your body just gets rid of the extra fluid.”

Clear:-
What it reveals: Urine that barely colors the toilet water probably means you’ve been drinking a lot of fluids. The lighter the color, the more hydrated you are, Dr. Kavaler explains.

When to be worried: “Light urine’s no problem, except for overpeeing,” Dr. Kavaler says.

Of course, excessive hydration can lead to hyponatremia, which occurs when someone drinks so much liquid the body’s balance of sodium to water goes off-kilter, according to the Mayo Clinic. That can be deadly. (Other risk factors for hyponatremia include some medications and medical conditions, such as kidney disease.)

“The average healthy person needs about six to seven 8-ounce glasses of water a day,” Dr. Hyman says. “Some people walk around with a 2-liter bottle in their hands, but that’s overkill.”

So drink just enough to stay hydrated throughout the day, but don't overdo it.

Cloudy:-
What it reveals: If nothing else seems wrong in your body, don't worry about cloudy urine, says Dr. Hyman.

“One of the most common causes is phosphaturia – phosphate crystals that form when the acidity of the urine is low,” he says. With chronically high levels of phosphate crystals, you may get kidney stones, Dr. Hyman says.

If you're concerned, test your urine at home by collecting some in a paper cup and adding a capful of vinegar. If the cloudiness is caused by phosphaturia, the urine will turn clear, says Dr. Hyman.

If your urine is chronically cloudy, see your doctor, he says: It could be an infection [without symptoms] or a sign of other inflammatory conditions, and rarely, cancer.”

Other causes of cloudy urine? “A pocket of pus from an infection in the urethra,” says Stanley Silber, M.D., chief of the division of urology at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore.

A discharge also can make urine cloudy, but our anatomy makes it tough to know if the source is the urethra or vagina.

When to be worried: If you have cloudy urine, burning or urgency, and are urinating frequently, you probably have a urinary tract infection (UTI), says Dr. Kavaler. In most cases, a UTI is very unpleasant but usually not dangerous if you get prompt treatment, Dr. Kavaler says. However, untreated UTIs can lead to severe or chronic kidney infections (pyelonephritis), which could permanently harm your kidneys.

A UTI, usually caused by bacteria, can involve inflammation anywhere along the urinary tract, from your urethra (the tube that carries urine to the outside of your body) to the kidneys.

One in five women will have a UTI in her lifetime, according to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). And once you have one, you’re more likely to have another, says the NIDDK.

To find out if you have a UTI, see your doctor for a urinalysis. If you test positive, you’ll probably be prescribed an antibiotic at the lowest effective dose, says Dr. Kavaler.

Need relief before you get to the doc? Dr. Kavaler suggests Cystex [methenamine], an over-the-counter medication that relieves burning and quells bacteria production.

If you test negative for a UTI but still have symptoms, see your gynecologist. You could have a vaginal yeast infection, which are more common than a UTI in women, says Dr. Silber. It can also be cured with antibiotics.

Blue-Green :-
What it reveals: If you're seeing cooler tones in your urine, the culprit may be color-changing medications or vitamins.

“Blue or greenish urine is very common from over-the-counter drugs, such as AZO [phenazopyridine] or Prosed [methenamine], that reduce the burning discomfort from UTIs,” Dr. Hyman says.

If you've had medical procedures, such as X-rays or computed axial tomography (CAT) scans, that involve intravenous dyes, like methylene blue or indigo carmine, you might see a corresponding color in your urine.

Some multivitamins may also turn urine blue or green, says Dr. Kavaler. Taking too many B vitamins tinge it bright-green.

When to be worried: If none of the above causes explain the color, you may have a bacterial infection called pseudomonas. “If your urine is acidic, the bacteria will turn it greenish-blue,” Dr. Hyman says. 

Check with your doctor – pseudomonas can be quickly treated with antibiotics.

Fluorescent Yellow/Orange:-What it reveals: Did you have a lots of carrots today? Love beets? Popped vitamin C to ward off a cold? Then expect an orange or rosy glow in your urine.

If food and vitamins aren’t the cause, it might be drugs. Medications – including the antibiotic rifampin (Rifadin), blood thinner warfarin (Coumadin), some laxatives and chemotherapy drugs – may also dye urine orange.

So can a urinary sedative such as phenazopyridine hydrochloride (Pyridium).

“It’s used for patients who have tubes in their bladder or urinary system,” Dr. Silber says.

When to be worried: A dark orange color bordering on brown could mean too much bile is being excreted into your urine, says Dr. Silber.

“That could be a liver or gastrointestinal problem,” he says. “If you’re not on Pyridium and your urine is dark orange, get to a doctor.”

Brown:-
What it reveals: Chowing down on fava beans, rhubarb or aloe might turn urine brown, according to the Mayo Clinic. So can some medications, such as antimalarial drugs, antibiotics, laxatives and muscle relaxants.

But brown urine could also suggest a liver problem, Dr. Silber says, such as hepatitis (an inflammation of the liver caused by a virus or toxins) or cirrhosis, a condition that damages liver cells.

Or the color could be caused by dried blood from the kidney, bladder or urinary tract, or from an infection or tumor, says Dr. Silber.

When to be worried: “If your urine is brown, definitely see a doctor,” he says.

Smelly:-
What it reveals: Urine normally doesn’t smell sweet – its odor is more like ammonia.

And if you've eaten asparagus lately? Then your pee smells like rotten eggs or spoiled cabbage.

That's because an enzyme breaks down the veggies into compounds – including the same ones a skunk emits – which also get excreted in the urine.

“But if it’s really smelly, think of infection,” Dr. Silber says. “Congealed blood can also cause pungent urine.”

When to be worried: If asparagus isn’t the cause, see a doctor.

“Ninety-nine times out of a 100, smelly urine means an infection,” says Dr. Silber, which can be treated with an antibiotic.

Pink, Red or BloodyWhat it reveals: Blueberries and rhubarb may turn urine pink. So can medications like laxatives, some antipsychotics and an anesthetic called Propofol. More dangerous causes are deadly toxins like lead or mercury.

Or you could be bleeding from vigorous exercise. “This occurs [from] bruising of the kidneys from strenuous running or weight lifting,” Dr. Silber says. 

Kidney stones, tumors, a serious infection and kidney or bladder cancer can also cause blood in your urine. 

When to be worried: “If you ate beets and the next day your urine is red and you’ve never had a problem with red urine before, don’t eat any more beets,” Dr. Silber says. “If your urine isn't clear in 24 hours, see a doctor.”

Red urine is the most serious flare your urine can send up; it “requires an extensive workup,” he says. A doctor will order an X-ray or CAT scan of your kidneys and then do a cystoscopic exam, inserting a scope into your bladder through the urethra to check for infection and tumors.

There’s an over-the-counter dip-stick test that can identify blood in your urine. “But those have a lot of false positives,” Dr. Hyman adds. 

The bottom line is, if you're seeing red, “let a doctor tell you why,” Dr. Kavaler advises.

News,Latest News,George Zimmerman Arrested, Allegedly Threw Wine Bottle at Girlfriend

The Seminole County Sheriff's Office says the 31-year-old Zimmerman was arrested for aggravated assault at his home in Lake Mary about 10 p.m. Friday.

Zimmerman was released on a $5,000 bond Saturday afternoon. At a court appearance earlier Saturday, he was ordered to avoid contact with the woman, who was not identified.

Judge John Galluzzo gave few details of the incident, but said a wine bottle was involved and that the alleged assault happened at Zimmerman's home. Prosecutors questioned whether substance abuse treatment was needed, but the judge said that didn't seem to be a factor.

After the brief hearing, Zimmerman's attorney, Don West, told the Orlando Sentinel (http://tinyurl.com/me467wh) his client was arrested after allegedly throwing a wine bottle 'in the direction of' his girlfriend several days ago.

"No injuries, no contact, nothing that I'm aware of that led up to it. It's just one of those things that somehow brought us here," West told reporters.

West didn't know who called police, but said he didn't think the alleged victim placed the call.

Zimmerman was also told by the judge to stay out of Volusia County, where the woman lives.

The judge ordered Zimmerman to pack up any personal belongings his girlfriend may have left at Zimmerman's home and give them to his lawyer.

Zimmerman, who wore blue scrubs and handcuffs, appeared calm during the brief hearing. At one point, he laughed and joked with an officer as he signed paperwork.

Although the incident didn't involve a firearm, the judge ordered Zimmerman to surrender any weapons out of an abundance of caution.

Zimmerman is scheduled to appear back in court on Feb. 17.

No further details about the alleged assault were released. A message left for Seminole County Sheriff officials seeking further information about the incident was not immediately returned Saturday morning.

Zimmerman was acquitted in 2013 of a second-degree murder charge for shooting an unarmed teenager, Trayvon Martin.

Since his acquittal, Zimmerman has had several brushes with the law:

? He was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, battery and criminal mischief after his then-girlfriend said he pointed a gun at her face during an argument, smashed her coffee table and pushed her out of the house they shared. Samantha Scheibe decided not to cooperate with detectives and prosecutors didn't pursue the case.

? Zimmerman was accused by his estranged wife of smashing an iPad during an argument at the home they had shared. Shellie Zimmerman initially told a dispatcher her husband had a gun, though she later said he was unarmed. No charges were ever filed because of a lack of evidence. The dispute occurred days after Shellie Zimmerman filed divorce papers.

There is a moment roughly three-quarters of the way through Taken 3where Bryan Mills, the ex-CIA operative played by Liam Neeson, tells one of the film's reptilian villains that he's having a hard time figuring out the scheme that has forced him into action for a third time. It's entirely possible screenwriters Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen dropped it in there as a meta-joke for the audience. But even if it was, it doesn't take away from the fact that tracking the plot of Taken 3 is more difficult than believing that the Mills family has luck this bad.

The beauty of the first Taken was its simplicity—girl gets kidnapped, commando dad springs into action and murders half of Paris. Even the inferior Taken 2 kept things tidy, re-casting Neeson as the captured. This time around, Neeson's Mills is the prey, having been framed for the murder of his wife Lenore (Famke Janssen). He's being hunted by an ineffectual detective named Dotzler (Forest Whitaker) and trying to solve Lenore's murder while also protecting oft-imperiled daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) from afar.

It'd be totally reasonable if Taken 3 was simply about Neeson staying a half-step ahead of Whitaker, but instead there are a series of convoluted double-crosses involving Kim's shady stepdad Stuart (Dougray Scott) and Russian gangster Oleg Malankov (Sam Spruell). Add in Kim's just-discovered pregnancy and you've got one swerve too many.

But it's a testament to Neeson's startling charisma as an action star that for all its storytelling flaws, large swaths of Taken 3 remain wildly entertaining. Though he's obviously been excellent as Oskar Schindler and Rob Roy, these late-period Bronson-esque roles are the ones that really drive home what a skilled actor Neeson is. The dialogue in Taken 3 is pretty goofy sometimes, but he sells it without looking as if he's trying to hard, and his underlying devotion to his family is always lurking behind his eyes even as he's waterboarding dudes.

The rest of the credit belongs to Megaton, who masterfully constructs explosive set pieces. In addition to a pair of high-impact car chases, there's also a clever fistfight in a liquor store and a siege on Malankov's high-security apartment, all of which manage to balance blindingly kinetic action with a clear sense of geometry and choreography—you never lose track of where Neeson or his enemies are and what is at stake at all times. It lends Taken 3 a weight that doesn't exist on the page and helps it recover from its clunky first act. It's the weakest of the trilogy, but Taken 3 kicks just hard enough to survive another day.
